Touch point cleaning includes, but is not limited to, door knobs and locks, door push bars, doors and door casings, window sills and window cranks, stair and ramp hand railings, cupboard handles and drawer pulls, appliance faces and handles, light switches, table and desktops, desk drawer handles, telephones, key boards and mice, monitor frame, elevator buttons, credit card keypads, vending machine buttons, equipment controls, remote controls, chair armrests, bed-rails, toilets seats and flush handles, faucets, soap pumps paper dispensers and bathroom stall partitions, then follow with ULV fogging or Electrostatic spraying depending on your needs.

Cleaning Protocols
Performing Fogging
- Using ULV Foggers we will fog/mist areas (determined per discussion
and /or inspection). - Fog/mist the room(s) with an EPA registered botanical disinfectant (if approved by the client). Note: No occupancy in the room for at least 2 hours after fogging/misting. Fogged areas must be ventilated with fresh air for at least 4 air changes or 2 hours before occupying the space.
***Fogging should be used as an adjunct to manual cleaning and sanitation..
Deep Cleaning
Cleaning and an application of an EPA registered disinfectant to all touch point cleaning surfaces (mentioned above) as well as walls and floors. Fog/mist the room(s) with an EPA registered botanical disinfectant (if approved by the client). Note: No occupancy in the room for at least 2 hours after fogging/misting. Fogged areas must be ventilated with fresh air for at least 4 air changes or 2 hours before occupying the space.
Appropriate PPE: N95 mask, Full eye protection, Protective suits and gloves.
Presumed Covid-19 cleaning
The CDC explains Coronavirus (COVID-19) Cleaning Protocols this way:
[Cleaning] does not necessarily kill germs, but by removing them, it lowers their numbers and the risk of spreading infection.
[Disinfecting] does not necessarily clean dirty surfaces or remove germs, but by killing germs on a surface after cleaning, it can further lower the risk of spreading infection.
A publication on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency website states:
Clean first before you disinfect. Germs can hide underneath dirt and other material on surfaces where they are not affected by the disinfectant. Dirt and organic material can also reduce the germ killing ability of some disinfectants.
